Privacy Policy

Cappsule Technologies ("we", "our", "us") operates the AI Astrologer mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your information.

By using the App you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy.

1.1 Device Identifier

When you first open the App, a random unique identifier (UUID) is generated and stored securely in your device's Keychain. This identifier is used to associate your preferences and horoscope history with your device. It is not linked to your Apple ID, name, email, or any other personally identifiable information.

1.2 User Preferences

• Selected zodiac sign
• Language preference (detected from your device locale)
• Haptic feedback setting
• Voice preference (male/female)

1.3 Horoscope & Luck Data

AI-generated horoscope texts, titles, dates, favorite status, and daily luck data (luck scores, lucky number, lucky color, lucky stone) are stored locally on your device using Core Data. If you have iCloud enabled, this data may be synced across your devices via Apple's CloudKit service. Horoscope content is never uploaded to our servers except when you use the voice narration feature (see Section 1.6).

1.4 Subscription Data

Your premium subscription status is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework and synced with our backend so that premium features can be unlocked. We do not have access to your payment method, Apple ID, or billing details.

1.5 Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data such as screen views and purchase events. This data helps us improve the App experience. Firebase Analytics may collect:

• Screen view events (which screens you visit)
• Purchase transaction events
• App version, device model, and OS version

1.6 Voice Narration Data

When you use the voice narration feature, your horoscope text is sent to our server, which forwards it to ElevenLabs (a third-party text-to-speech provider) to generate audio. The audio and alignment data are returned to your device and stored locally. ElevenLabs processes the text solely to produce audio and does not store or use it for other purposes.

1.7 Push Notification Tokens

If you allow notifications, we receive a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to deliver push notifications. We subscribe your device to a language-based topic (e.g., "AI_Astrologer_en" or "AI_Astrologer_tr") to send relevant notifications.

We do not collect any of the following:

• Name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• Location data (GPS, IP-based geolocation)
• Photos, camera, or media library access
• Health, fitness, or biometric data
• Browsing or search history
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• Contacts, calendar, or social media data

• Provide the service: Generate personalized horoscopes and daily luck data based on your selected zodiac sign and date.
• Voice narration: Convert horoscope text into audio using a third-party text-to-speech service.
• Manage subscriptions: Verify and sync your premium subscription status.
• Improve the App: Analyze anonymous usage patterns to enhance features and fix issues.
• Send notifications: Deliver horoscope reminders and zodiac season notifications (if enabled).

The App allows you to share horoscope snapshots to Instagram Stories. When you use this feature, a shareable image is generated locally on your device and passed to the Instagram app. We do not upload or store this image on our servers. Sharing requires that the Instagram app is installed on your device.

• Local storage: Horoscope content, daily luck data, and audio alignment data are stored on your device using Core Data. Your device UUID is stored in the iOS Keychain (encrypted by the operating system).
• iCloud sync: If iCloud is enabled on your device, locally stored data may be synced across your Apple devices via CloudKit. You can manage this through your device's iCloud settings.
• Server storage: Your device UUID, zodiac sign, language, subscription status, and timestamps are stored on Firebase servers located in Europe (region: europe-west3).
• Encryption: All communication between the App and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.

• Local data: Stored indefinitely until you delete the App or use the "Delete Account" feature.
• Server data: Retained until you request account deletion through the App's Settings screen.
• Analytics data: Retained according to Google Firebase's default retention policies (typically 14 months).
• AI processing: Horoscope prompts and generated content processed by OpenAI are subject to OpenAI's data retention policies. Voice narration text processed by ElevenLabs is subject to ElevenLabs' data retention policies.

9.1 Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time by going to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account in the App. This will:

• Delete your user profile from our servers
• Remove all locally stored horoscopes, luck data, and audio alignment data from your device
• Clear your device identifier from the Keychain

This action is irreversible.

9.2 Data Access and Portability

To request a copy of any data we hold about you, contact us at the email address below.

9.3 Opt-Out of Notifications

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's Settings app.

9.4 Manage iCloud Sync

You can disable iCloud sync for this App through your device's Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework because we do not engage in cross-app tracking.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
